Day-tours from Windhoek to the Mushara Lodges / Etosha
We are very proud to introduce a new service that makes a visit to the famous Etosha National Park more affordable, more flexible and convenient.
Enjoy a guided day trip from Windhoek to Etosha in the comfort and luxury of a modern VW Multivan. You do not have to compromise on your personal Etosha experience by joining a tour group and you do not have to hire a car. Travel to one of the two Mushara Lodges in style and safety and enjoy a unique and individual Etosha experience. With Mushara Lodge or Mushara Outpost as your comfortable home away from home for as long as you wish you can join the guided game drives on offer in open game viewing vehicles whenever you choose. Day-tours from Windhoek to the Mushara Lodges / Etosha
As from 03.03.2008 a new seat-in day tour service will be offered from Windhoek to Mushara Lodge and Mushara Outpost / Etosha National Park every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The return seat-in day tour from Mushara to Windhoek will be conducted every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Windhoek – Mushara Lodges (530 km) every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
All passengers will be collected from their hotels in Windhoek from 07.30 hrs onwards for departure from Windhoek at 08.00 hrs. We travel along the B1 via Okahandia to Otjiwarongo. Here we stop at a coffee shop for 20 minutes, where after we continue via Otavi to Tsumeb, where the passengers have 60 minutes to have lunch at a restaurant and/or visit the Museum. We continue at approx. 13.00 hrs to the Mushara Lodges. We arrive at Mushara Outpost at approx. 14.15 hrs and at Mushara Lodge at 14.30 hrs – in time for the afternoon game drives offered.
Mushara Lodges – Windhoek (530 km) every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
We depart from Mushara Lodge at 09.15 hrs / Mushara Outpost 09.30 hrs. On route to Tsumeb we stop over at Lake Otjikoto for 20 minutes and travel along the B1 via Otavi to Otjiwarongo, where the passengers have 60 minutes and for sightseeing and lunch. At 13.00 hrs we continue to Okahandia, where we visit the wood carver’s crafts market for 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Windhoek at approx. 16.00 hrs all passengers will be dropped off at the hotel of their choice.
The vehicles used are luxurious Volkswagen T5 Caravelle Multivans with leather seats and multi zone climate control air condition.
We can carry a maximum of 6 passengers per vehicle. If necessary, excess luggage will be transported in a trailer to utilise maximum space within the vehicle for maximum legroom (45 cm!) and comfort.
The price per trip (one-way) is N$ 1.980,00 per person (min 2, max 6 passengers)
Prices are valid from 01.03.2008 until 31.10.2008. We reserve the right to increase the prices in case of extreme fuel hikes.
